DESCRIPTION:This 4-hour course is approved for Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) and Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) renewal and elective credits in New York State. continuing education course provides Certified Recovery Peer Advocates (CRPAs) and Certified Addiction Recovery Coaches (CARCs) with the ethical skills\, boundaries\, and best practices needed to deliver safe\, professional\, and trauma-informed digital peer support. It is a game-changer in our digital world. Even if you don’t provide full digital support\, you are likely texting\, facetiming or meeting on Zoom/Teams and this course supports best practices. \nThis course is approved by the NYCB for both CRPA and CARC renewal credits as well as CARC elective credits. \n–4 hour Ethics Renewal: Principals\, Boundaries & Decision Making \nFriends of Recovery – New York (FOR-NY) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to demonstrate the power and promise of recovery from addictions and its value to individuals\, families and communities throughout New York State and the nation.
