A complete and well-developed supportive housing application is critical to accurately presenting the client’s needs, strengths, and eligibility for housing. Incomplete documentation or insufficient information can delay approval and reduce the likelihood of a successful housing placement.
In this webinar, the presenter will share best practices for conducting housing-focused assessments and preparing accurate, comprehensive applications,
Participants will also learn how to prepare clients for housing interviews and support them through the referral, interview, and placement process.

Presenter:
Rosalie Bouret, BA is the HRC Coordinator with the Housing Resource Center at the CUCS Institute. Ms. Bouret has fifteen years of experience in mental health and supportive housing. In her current role, she oversees the Housing Consultation and Resources program, provides liaison support for the Single Point of Access (SPOA) Housing program and for the Reentry Coordination System. She facilitates the NYC OMH Housing 101 training and the NY/NY Overview Training, as well as providing support navigating the mental health supportive housing options in NYC. She has also worked with the New York State Office of Mental Health with placing priority applicants transitioning into the community from Adult Homes and State Psychiatric Centers. Prior to joining CUCS, she served as an Assistant Program Director for a HASA contracted scattered-site supportive housing program, and for a congregate DHS contracted supported SRO program.
