“New York City is a place where we’re constantly learning and building. For the past three months, crime has gone down, with an 18% drop in crime rates in our trains. The city has been very responsive to making sure, post-pandemic, that the subways are safe for everyone.”

Vijah Ramjattan, Executive Director of the Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes, joined K-Radio—the leading East Coast network serving Korean American communities—to discuss the impact of hate crimes and bias incidents on Asian New Yorkers and how OPHC is working to make the city safer for all.
