About Justice in Motion

Justice in Motion is an innovative job fair and symposium sponsored by the New York City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice. This flagship event brings together our partners—namely city agencies and nonprofit organizations—and the public.

The event typically features:  

• a hiring hall (including second-chance employers)  

• panels on community-based diversion and reentry initiatives 

• interactive simulations demonstrating the challenges of reentry 

• readings by winners of our Next Verse poetry contest
